Description

Made in Ireland by JMH Jewelry of Dublin. This beautifully crafted 10k gold Irish Celtic cross is engraved with Celtic knotwork and set with a real emerald at the center. To the Celts, the flowing lines and interwoven designs of their art represented the interconnectedness and continuity of life.

Examples of fine Celtic knotwork can be found in Ireland's national treasures, such as the Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript of the four Gospels, or in carved stone high crosses which have stood for centuries in the Irish landscape. The National Museum in Dublin houses fine examples of Irish Celtic jewelry and metalwork... today JMH Jewelry carries on that tradition.

The cross is 1 and 1/8 inch high, measured without including the piece that attaches to the chain, and 3/4 of an inch across. An 18 inch 10k gold chain is included, and the cross comes presented in a JMH gift box.
