Made in Ireland by JMH Jewelry, a small family-owned business based in Dublin. Inspired by carved stone Irish high crosses, this 10k gold Irish Celtic cross is embossed with polished Celtic knotwork against a rough cast background. To the Celts, the flowing lines and interwoven designs of their art represented the interconnectedness and continuity of life, things without beginnings and ends, and the ongoing spritual journey...

Examples of fine Celtic knotwork can be found in Ireland's national treasures, such as the Book of Kells, an illuminated hand-written manuscript of the four Gospels, or in the treasures of gold displayed at the National Museum in Dublin, which houses fine examples of Irish Celtic jewelry and metalwork with Celtic knotwork designs. The Irish "Trinity Knot" is a traditional design often found on crosses.

This cross is 7/8 inch high, measured without including the piece that attaches to the chain, and 5/8 of an inch across. An 18 inch 10k gold chain is included.
