The top (or ‘head’) notes (what you smell straight away) are sunny Sicilian lemons and bergamote, palest pink geraniums, cyclamen and muguet (lily of the valley). The middle (or ‘heart’) notes (what you smell as the perfume settles on your skin and develops) are pink May rose, white rose centifolia, white damask rose absolute and traces of Turkish rose attar. The bottom (or ‘soul’) notes (which anchor the perfume, providing depth and tenacity) are Penang patchouli, finest Mysore sandalwood, vanilla from Madagascar, incense, Tonkin musk and Atlas cedarwood.
