Newgrange, which predates the Egyptian pyramids, is one of Ireland's celebrated ancient Celtic archaeological sites. At the entrance to Newgrange stands a large boulder carved with these three entwined spiral decorations. Spirals often appear in Celtic art, holding a symbolic meaning that remains a mystery to those of us living in the modern world.This silver necklace was designed and made by JMH Jewelry, a small family-owned company in Dublin which carries on the centuries-old tradition of fine jewelry making in Ireland.
