Celtic jewelry made in Ireland by Solvar Jewellery, Dublin. This contemporary sterling silver Newgrange spiral pendant incorporates a "Trinity Knot" in the design and is presented on an 18 inch chain.

Newgrange, which predates the Egyptian pyramids, is one of Ireland's celebrated ancient Celtic archaeological sites. At the entrance to Newgrange stands a large boulder carved with these three entwined spiral decorations. Spirals often appear in Celtic art, holding a symbolic meaning that remains a mystery to those of us living in the modern world.

The "Trinity Knot" is often found carved on Irish high crosses with the continuous lines symbolizing the interconnectedness of all things... things without beginnings and ends... the continuing spiritual journey of life.
